Caribbean -Health & Vaccinations
This overview covers selected sovereign island states of the Caribbean. It does not replace individual travel-medicine advice. Vaccine recommendations, dengue and mosquito risks, outbreaks and entry requirements vary by island, season and personal circumstances.
Important notice
Review routine vaccines, hepatitis A/B and, depending on itinerary, additional vaccines such as typhoid or rabies 4–8 weeks before departure where possible. Dengue and other mosquito-borne illnesses are important issues in many Caribbean countries. All links open in a new tab and lead to the Tropical Institute’s country information on vaccinations, mosquito protection and health risks.
